The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

The United States Department of Agriculture via the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture provides surplus food items to Northern Tier for distributions at the Elk and Cameron County Food Banks.

State Food Purchase Program (SFPP)

Funds are provided to Food Banks for the purchase of food items to ensure a complete and balanced nutritional diet. Funding is available through the PA Department of Agriculture/Bureau of Food Distribution.

Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program (EFSNB)

Provides funding to assist with the provision of services to economically disadvantaged families.

Cameron County

The Cameron County Food Pantry is located in Emporium, PA (Located in the building behind the Northern Tier Community Action offices.) The address is :

The Christian Food Bank located in St. Marys, PA (Located in the Crystal Fireman's Department building on South Michael Street).  The address is:
