The Homeless Assistance Program (HAP) funded through the Department of Public Welfare (DPW) to Cameron County, serves individuals and families in Cameron County. The Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program (EFSNBP) funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency serves individuals and families in Cameron and Elk Counties. The Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) funded through the Department of Community and Economic Development serves individuals and families in Cameron, Elk and Potter Counties. The Comprehensive Housing Counseling Initiative(CHCI) funded through the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) provides for counseling services to individuals and families in Cameron, Elk, McKean and Potter counties. The CHCI provides for Pre-Purchase/Pre-Closing counseling to individuals and families looking to purchase a home or who are already in the process of purchasing a home.
