The main objective of the Work Ready program is to aid individuals/families receiving cash assistance benefits to achieve self-sufficiency through employment and become active contributors to their communities. The program helps individuals over-come barriers to employment. Time is spent assessing client needs and identifying such barriers. They are then given the tools to help them become successful.
An individualized training plan is made for each enrollee to remove barriers and implement skills needed to become self-sufficient.

All individuals enrolled in the Work Ready Program are referred by the County. |
