Energy Conservation

Energy Assistance, LIURP, DCED/DPW Crisis, Weatherization

Northern Tier Community Action’s Energy Programs are committed to helping community members with low income in Cameron, Elk, McKean and Potter Counties cover their energy costs. For eligible consumers our programs work to reduce energy consumption, improve heating systems, and help pay a portion of fuel and utility bills.

Pre-School Services

Head Start, Pre-K Counts

Head Start and Pre-K Counts provide education, health, nutrition, and social services to families with children age 3 to 5 years old.  Our programs help children develop academic and social skills that prepare them for school and life.  Families are also provided support to help them obtain services for a variety of needs.

Housing

HEMAP, HAP, EFSP, PCHPP

Housing initiatives through Northern Tier Community Action Corporation provide assistance to families facing imminent loss of their existing housing or are currently homeless.

Food & Nutrition

Provides children and low-income people access to food, a healthful diet, and nutrition education.
