Snow Removal Bid 2026

Bids are being accepted for snow plowing at both the Coudersport and / or Johnsonburg Center locations. You may bid on one or both locations.

Bids should be placed in a sealed envelope and submitted to Northern Tier Community Action Corporation Head Start Program, P.O. Box 389, Emporium, PA and must arrive no later than 12:00 noon on September 29, 2026.

The bids will be opened on September 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM.

The successful bidder will be notified the following day.

An outline of required services and details follow:

• Snow removal will only be required when there are two or more inches of snow accumulated;
• This bid should include plowing snow from the parking lot and driveway areas, as well as clearing the main walkway at the front door and should be completed prior to 8:00 A.M.
• The charge for the service;
  • There will be no other activities related to snow elimination, anti-skid preparations, or ice removal billed for without prior approval from the Northern Tier Community Action Head Start Administrative Offices
  • It is agreed that any and all expenses for maintenance of equipment will be borne by the contractor.
  • It is further understood that Northern Tier Community Action Corporation, the Head Start Program, all agency employees, and directors and officers of the corporation and program shall be held harmless for any and all damages to equipment, property, or personnel during the performance of this contract.
  • Invoicing is to be completed on a monthly basis.
  • All invoices for plowing must indicate the date(s) that the plowing occurred, cost per plowing, and the total cost of the invoice.
